Thursday November 6, 2008, there was an
'Appreciation Dinner" held in honor of five
(5) Retirees who gave sterling service to
Steths. They are:
Mrs.
Dorothy Samuda, immediate
Past Principal who served the school as a
teacher and principal for thirty four (34)
years:
Mr. Felix
Cameron, watchman for nine
(9) years:
Mrs.
Louise Taylor, ancillary
staff member for twenty (20) years:
Mrs.
Myrtle Cameron (dec'd April,
2008), ancillary staff member for twenty
three (23) years:
Mr.
Shemlyn Griffiths, grounds
man for sixteen (16) years.
The guest speaker was Mrs. Elaine
Foster-Allen, Chief Inspector, National
Inspectorate, Education Trans-Formation
Programme. Mrs. Samuda replied on behalf of
the Retirees. Master of Ceremonies was
Ainsley A. Clarke, Freelance Sports
Broadcaster, KLAS Sports Radio.
Some who brought greetings were; Dr.
Lincoln Little, Past Student and School
Doctor, Mr. Dundee Hewitt, Board Chairman
and Mrs. Loveda Jones, Former Director,
